Hello, I am a 20 year old male. I lost my mother about 2 months ago. Ever since then I have had a hard time sleeping. When I do start resting good, I have bad dreams. and it has become a very seldom thing. I don't have medical insurance yet. I am about to become a police officer and then I'll have insurance. I've been holding off going to the doctor b/c I really don't have the money at this time. I was hoping it would get better, but its getting where its about an every night thing. What should I do? Thanks alot

Death of a loved one is one of the most stressful things in life that we ever experience. You are still dealing with the loss of your mother, and sometimes when we are under a new or more intense stress, we have nightmares and often lose sleep.
Have you considered counseling to help you deal with it better?
You may want to talk to your doctor about something to help with your sleep and general Anxiety.
