Question: Seroquel

Kirsty_Oz - Thu Jul 21, 2005 4:09 am

Can anyone tell me something about this drug?

I know it is an Anti-psychotic drug. Thats all. A very close friend of mine is being treated in a psychiatric facility, and they have just changed meds to this.
Shannon Morgan, CMA - Fri Jul 29, 2005 1:56 am

Seroquel is an atypical Antipsychotic; it works basically the same way as mellaril or thorazine. It is used for psychotic episodes in Bipolar patients and to help stabilize Mania. It is also used to treat Schizophrenics.
