Question: pubic bump

kolpy - Tue Jun 14, 2005 11:33 pm

can I get some help?
im 15 and am still a virgin, but last night I found a large slightly pink bump on my pubic region under the hair about 1/4 inch away from the base of the penis. I compressed it and a little blood and yellowish clear liquid came out and now it's somewhat bigger and pinker. is this herpes? or another disorder?

It's not herpes; it sounds like an ingrown hair that got infected, very common. Keep it clean with peroxide and treat with Antibiotic ointment, it will heal up nicely. If it gets worse in spite of treatment, see a doctor.

im only 14 and a virgin yet I have discovered just an hour ago that on my vagina there is this pea size bump. it is located on the outer trim of the pubic hair. I too also compressed it and a clear yellow liquid then blood oozed out.
im really concern bc I don't shave there and whenever I press on it it hurts like a mild bruise-- though not too much to actually be considered painful

I was wondering if this is common & would heal quickly. is there anything I should do to treat it?

please help!

It sounds like it could also be an ingrown hair; try the above mentioned remedy and if it persists, see your doctor.
